5 minuits ago when i looked out 2 windows in my house i sow some strange things.
Window 1:
Clear sky
The moon
HUGE storm clouds in the distance (the very tall fluffy type, hopefully they are coming my way!)
some of the whispy high-altidue clouds
Some thin medium altitude clouds.
Some very dark, smaller storm clouds, closer than the other lot.
Window 2:
Low overcast clouds

SNOW! Beautiful (slightly polluted) white snow! Alas it only snowed twice in 5 minuite bursts and it melted on contact. But at this time of year...in LONDON!!! Hopefully the storm clouds are coming my way and are loaded with moisture, with a cold front. Then i will have a blizzard on my hands!
I shall update you tommorow.
cheers
Philip

:-) When I walked out the door last night to go to work, I saw snow also. Just started falling....
Every time I looked out while at work, I still saw snow.... and it still kept falling.....
My relief didn't come in so I worked a 12 hour shift, and when I left I still saw snow..... still falling......
Seems to have stopped now, but I don't think it's going to melt in 5 minutes....... :-) :-) :-)

Now here in Massachusetts, I've seen a 50 degree change in one day.
One morning, I picked up a car pooler and it was about 45 degrees. When we got to work 20 miles west, it was 20 degrees with no significant change in altitude.
One night on vacation on Cape Cod, there was a bright full moon dominating the southern sky and a raging thunderstorm dominating the northern sky.
Last week, we had a prediction of 20 inches of snow and got an inch of rain.
We've had snow as late as mid May, (about 300 feet above sea level, certainly not a mountain) and 75 degrees between Christmas and New Years.
We had a winter a few years ago with over 100 inches of snow foloowed by a year with less than a foot.

Lightning and thunder and more rain Oh My!
We have a mini El Nino working over the state.
Let it rain, let it snow! We need the water
Cheers
