Salisbury, here. Nice to meet ya'll.

My son lives in Cary. He hust got a full time job with the NCNG In Raleigh. My oldest son's brother-in-law is in the Marines, stationed at Cherry Point. I did some EOD training with the EOD Unit that was at Bragg back in the 80's. I've never been to Nags Head. We go down to emerald Isle, Morehead City, every Summer.

I get down east to New Bern once a month for IPMS club. When weather is better we stay overnight in Morehead City then take a leisurely drive & ferry ride(s) back up the Outer Banks next day.

I know Newport. We go over to Beaufort and eat a couple of times when we go to the beach. I like it down that way. I love having all the aircraft flying around. Cool.

Eastern or Western BBQ? What's the difference? (++)
Anyone know what the better hobby shops are in the Raleigh / Durham area? I'd like to scope a few places out early next week if I can.

The Marines I have seen around the world have the cleanest bodies, the filthiest minds, the highest morale, and the lowest morals of any group of animals I have ever seen. Thank God for the United States Marine Corps!

Howdy from Asheville, N.C.
Born and raised here.......haven't left because I don't have enough money to move west. Asheville has become the freak capitol of the U.S. If you love being stuck behind retired Floridians with their left turn signal on.......or bean pies.....or naked hippy chicks with braided armpit hair.....Asheville is now the place to live.

Wow, that sounds like Chapel Hill! :-)
I've only been to Asheville once - to tour the Biltmore Estate. I guess the hippies were in hiding that day.
