As you all know from my other postings, that I am trying to scratch build a complete interior for my 1/72nd Panzer IV. I am trying to scratch build the MG ammunition barrel [magazines] compartments. So, I would like to know what is the thinnest sheet of styreen plastic that is availible on the market to build the area in question. Maybe even from Evergreen and Plastruct. I have tried to get a hold of them but the person [s] I talked to was not able to give me a straight answer. Can you guys help? Thank you.

From what it says on the back of my Evergreen bag, I think the thinnest sheet they make is .010 inches. I guess if you really need it thinner, you could sand it down or something....

plastruct has .010 thick as it's thinest.
Evergreen has a .005 thick as it's thinest (i've got some)

0.05 is the thinnest I used yet. However, when so thin it becomes very sensitive to being bent and warped by the glue. The thinner, the more careful you need to be.
