Here's the link to the topic in the Armor forum
It appears this vehicle is called the Mamba, I don't think anyone is manufacturing this in kit form.

Hi
That is called the Mamba. It replaced the Buffel about around1996 but not on a one to one basis. The are alot parked at the intelligence schools vehicle park just up the road from the Varisty here in Potch. Nice thing got a Mercedes engine under the hood and performs like a casspir.
Models. We'll I think Red Carpet or some such company brings out a 1/72 scale version here in SA or is planning to.

Thanks for the info Theunis.
Lets hope one of the local guys brings it out in a kit soon. I've gotta admit tho, would much prefer 1/35th though. But I guess beggars can't be choosers...
Speaking of Red Carpet, I contacted Hennie Bresler last week and was very dissapointed when he told me that the Olifant conversion for the Tamiya Centurion has been discontinued. Oh well, I guess I really missed the boat on that one... as it looks like the centurion has been discontinued as well...

I'm kinda hoping that one will appear on the market soon now that the US are using it
Would make for a cool diorama with SANDF Peacekeepers, or something along those lines

Hi
I guess we slept a bit late. A internet buddy of mine in Finland is building that conversion as we speak along with a ratel that he had got from somewhere. I will get some pics when he is done.

Hi,
Check out Vol.3 of the new VEG periodical. It has a spread with nice data and sideviews of the new RG-32 manufactured by OCM.
See thread about the periodical for contact particulars.
Regards,
Tappie
