Hi guys. I am in the process of researching the Sherman 1B on the net.

I was wondering if any of you Sherman fans can help me.

I wish to make a Sherman 1B that was used by the 1st Armoured Brigade in the invasion of Sicily in 1943.

I found some info that stated a 1B is just a "standard M4 whose gun of 75 mm is simply replaced by an howitzer of 105 mm on M52 mounting. The first models did not have cupola of commander, nor trap door for the loader."

Is that it?
