This happened Thursday (February 9th). To set this up Ball State University (in white) is playing Miami of Ohio (in red). My apologies as this comes from our local paper and has to have sponsors. There is a commercial in the beginning. Ball State filed a formal complaint, but I don't think it will do much if we get it, which we should.

Wow, looks like the Cards got hosed. I don't know that in the long run it is going to make much difference. At 12-8 BSU will be like to get a dance bid. The way it looks now the only state school that is probably dancing is ND. I remember when Indiana sent SIX teams to the tournament. Man, what happened...

We were in first in the MAC-West (Mid-Atlantic Conference), but with this as our second-straight defeat (and our first at home, I think 7-1), we were dropped to a tie for second.

Keenan - I was wondering the same thing as I read about IU sucking horribly, Purdue not doing hot.

The call was immediately called good. The reason you see Miami's coach jumping around is because he didn't even see the shot. He was busy yelling at the player who chucked the ball half court that they still had time. Like you said, even if the call is overturned, I don't think it will mean much. Though I do not know how this sort of thing works, I do not think BSU and Miami will meet one day and play just an overtime.

For an update on this, I guess the NCAA apologized for the call, but as mentioned, that is the most that can and will happen.
