I would like to know if there is a company out there that can make a figure look like a bronse statue? I believe that there maybe a paint like formula that you brush on to your figure and as it dries it starts to look like it was made of bronse like the statues you see outside.

The only product I know of like that is available from some art shops and is a metallic paste that is applied with a soft brush or cloth and buffed up. One brand was called "rub'n'buff", but there are others. I've used it on large scale napoleonic cannon with good effects (sadly the modells are long gone or I'd post a pic) - available in various finishes including bronze.

Games workshop do paints called "tin bitz" this dry brushed liberally over black leaves a very convincing
"bronzed look" maybe the best i have seen thus far
you can then aply another paint called "vile green"or if nolonger available (not sure ) then "dark angels green" and a lot of white will mix this colour.mix this to a very watery state, this gathers in the detail like verdegris
then if you wish apply some of mig pigments "copper rust" to give the green corrosion a powdery look it works fantastically ! hope this helps

I use that stuff too. Works very well and since it's made with the metal that it represents, it looks realistic too.
