Just a warning to others out there. scer16 is one not to trade with. I made a deal with this guy, in the Buy, Sell, Trade forum, about a month ago and never received my kit. He hasn't answered any of my PMs since the initial deal either. Granted, it was a minor item, some figures for a figure set, not too worried about it. But be warned of any future trading with him.

We should keep a list of "bad " business people, including eBay experiences, I'm going through one right now I don't want to say any names yet , cause he is answering my emails ( "should have it any time") But I will devulge if this turns out negitive.
This is really to bad , since there are ALOT of great seller/buyers out there, only takes a couple to screw up the system

Yes we had such a list on another forum for buying and selling x-box videogames as well (as these game are far too expensive in the shops here, you can buy already used games there which work as good as the new ones but which are about 1/3 of the shop price)

The reliable people who had more than 3 succesfull trades got the "reliable-status". People who proved themselves inreliable got on a black list.

It's not a 100% security system, but it's something...

Hi Guys

I did notice when on i think it was Red Lancers webb site they have a list of bad payers,i think it included companys.
I mean if you pay for something and they blow smoke up your ar..e there are ways to show that you have paid ,and that a resonable time has elapsed and still no joy, and they have not communicated in any way ,BUT HAVE TAKEN YOUR MONEY ,i think you are on very solid ground.
I did have experience of using a internt store which i found on this site, some how my card details got to some one else and they spent $2,300 at the store,ON MODELS!!

I did not lose anything, how ever i contacted them just to make them aware ,an to ask if they had any idea how it might have happened, never got a reply.
I know that they got shafted but a bit of PR would have been good .
As you will have noticed Jim i have never mentioned the store name, and there again i have never purchased any thing else from them, good PR!!
What i must add is that all other sites that i have used from this site have been first class
Cheers Chris

I see he hasn't been on Armorama since 19 Jan '05. What was the date of the trade?

Hasn't been here since Jan 19, and has made a total of 5 posts....since joining, with a totally blank profie.....
Certainly not someone I would consider buying from, much less making a trade with.
Well, hopefully all will work out Gino, perhaps he got deployed or something.

Dave,
I don't look up a full background check before I trade or do a deal with someone. Maybe I am just naive, but I still trust people. I have had no problems up till now. We shall see how it turns out.

Why the lawyers? All that would be reported is someone's observation of what has happened to them while buying something. If someone buying has trouble with a company they say so here, so why is an individual any different.
Besides, this is what should happen to some lawyers

Full retraction and Apology.

I want to apologize to Scer16. He mailed the figures when he said he did. They came in yesterday's mail and were postmarked 18 JAN. No idea why it took almost a month to get here. The mail is screwy sometimes.

No problem on the trade, just the mail sytem.

Glad to hear this all worked out in somewhat positive way.Call me optimistic, but I like to give people the benefit of doubt till the last dog is hung before I declare a neg statement on them.Truth is always stranger than our imaginations and all.Mind you, this is after I have made the decision to enter into a deal with a faceless individual.
