Hey Chris,
I cant remember how far back it was, but I posted the news and pictures of the new Army Duty Uniform. i think it was in the figure forum or it might as well have been in this forum.
The Army is are supposed to start fielding the new uniform to troops deploying here in the next couple of months. We are supposed to be all wearing the new uniform by 2007.
I found the thread and here it is:

Pete-
So what happens in the event of a desert conflict? Will this new uni be an end-all-be-all or will there be another uniform similar to the USMC's desert MARPAT?

Velcro...i think whoever designed these must have a love for the 80's :-) remember when there was velcro instead of shoelaces! :-) what a good invention!
Upon Being asked why he was being pushed back by a "Comonwealth" division at El Alamein, Rommel replied,
"it is not a Commonwealth division, it is an Australian Division, why, give me 2 Australian Divisions and i will conquer the world for you!"
