In the latest issue of Tamiya magazine Marcus Nicholls the editor, has said that they are going to include a lot more 'cars' in future, and also examples from 'Tuner' street racers, and science fiction. I just wondered what everybody else thought of this? I buy the magazine primarily for the armour content. Like the Military In Scale mag I used to subscribe to, TMMI seems to be including less and less armour, and so I'll stop buying it. I'm taking the opportunity in this thread to voice my opinions on this , but also to ask other modellers interested mainly in armour to tell us about the magazines they buy, and why they buy them. Oh, and if possible, could they also provide contact details, so that others (me!) could have the opportunity to buy them?

M.M.I.R. Military Miniatures In Review & AFV Modeller. Why? Well, because of what you said:
AFV Modeller is published in the U.K. so I would hope it would be readily available for you. It deals primarily with 1/35th scale armor - there is the occassional soft skin as well.
M.M.I.R. - great magazine, but very hard to come by for some reason. It would seem they are always running behind on getting these out and to distribution in a timely manner (at least if you read the threads that repeatedly come up over @ ML about "where's my @#!@!@$!@$!!!! MMIR?!!! .) Anyways, it deserves each curse it gets for lack of promptness due to it's content. It is somewhat like a magazine for people who don't get "on-line" much, in addition to what AFV Modeller covers it also has a section on new products out in the market.
I like them both, but don't strive to get my hands on each and everyone like I used to as I tend to find better things to spend my money on.
I almost forgot AFV Modeller has a unique feature in that they have their own website with every issue online in a downloadable .pdf format so you could essentially buy just the article that interests you vs. the whole magazine.

I dont subscribe to magazines anymore. I see them in the LHS and if they have an article that interests me, I'll buy it. I like what AFV Modeler lets you do...buy a PDF of their articles, though the photo quaitly could be a bit better, but if it was people would be running off hard print copies for their friends
