recieved an email today from a marine comrade of my dad, about a 1stsgt being nominated for the medal of honor, post your email here or PM it to me and i'll be happy to send it to you

The article listed above says it was an Army SGT 1st class or SFC in the 11th Engineer BTN, 3rd ID(M). There is a difference between 1st SGT and SFC. A 1st SGT is usually a Master Sargeant (?) or above.

Sgt Kasal was nominated and has become the second person nominated for one in since 93, with Paul smith being the first, and so far the only recipient of it. Sgt Kasal has not recieved it yet but here's hoping.
