damn.... UPN is probably going under anyways....

They should go back to the syndication route.

The headline is inaccurate as well. Star Trek: The Next Generation and Star Trek: Deep Space 9 were syndicated shows and not always shown during "prime time". But now I am just sad and nit-picking...

Putting ST:Enterprise against Stargate SG1 and Stargate Atlantis was a rough choice. Adding in the new Battlestar Galactica and the Sci-Fi Channel has a solid block of shows.

My personal opinion is that ST:Enterprise just didn't interest me. I mean the premise of going back to the formation of the Federation has little interest to me. I want to go into the future and see more alien races and borg battles and future technology. Weapons suck, shields suck, sensors suck., transporters suck compared to ST:TNG DS9 or Voyager.

Did you want anyone to read this??

Seriously everyone (not just you Alex) should think seriously about what you want to title your topics. The wrong title can kill the chances anyone will read it (or anyone you WANT to read it that is). If the topic is about Star Trek... it's probably a good idea to put Star Trek in the title.

For example.... look up at the title bar for this Window. You should see something like: Armorama.com :: Star Trek Engerprise... no more....etc". Well guess what google captures when they index a site? Yup...the TITLE info for a page and that has HIGH search relevance. Still not sold? Try searching "Star Trek Enterprise no more" in 7 days and see what comes up.

Cheers,
Jim

I was just getting into "Enterprise" since they got more interesting stories in the last season too - dang!

For some reason though, I'm happy that they're putting it to rest before it really takes a bad "jump over the shark tank" trying to do too much to capture more audience. Maybe they should let the franchise sit a bit and regroup with fresher stories, writers, and production teams. "Star Trek" got too slick and formulaic (not really a word - but we are talking about a fantasy universe here) for the casual viewer. Die-hards just hung on - like me.

I agree with the thought about putting "Enterprise" up against Sci-Fi Channel's powerhouse Friday night line-up. I think only William Shatner and the classic cast could take that challenge on (tongue firmly inserted in cheek!) and hope to win. UPN is disappointing...

I wonder what a new Trek series placed with the Sci-Fi Channel group would look and feel like considering how they approached Battlestar Galactica...

I was out sick from work a few days last week and caught some reruns of ST:DS9. I think they really should expand on the war with the Dominion. I mean ship to ship battles, boarding enemy ships, whatever. They keep talking at Starfleet HQ all about these battles but never show them

I don't understand why the Sci-Fi channel doesn't pick them all up, jeez there is enought space shows out there they could state the Space Channel. For folks like me that like that stuff it would be great, as for UPN I only recently began getting it now the only show I watch on it is being pulled.

SpikeTV actually has the ST:TNG and DS9 series. SciFi has ST:TOS and as far as I know UPN still has ST:VOY

Guys

Enterprise (which is not part of Star Trek franchise) the one starring Kevin Sorbo is on the SCi-fi channel right before Stargate. It is part of their Friday night lineup though they haven't started advertising it. So now you get 4 hours of great Sci-fi on same night and same channel WAHOOOOOO !! (6-10 PM central time)
