Wooden thingy with a length about 5 cm, and diameter about 1.5 mm. Main-stream usage is to remove food residual between teeth. But commonly utilized by modellers for different use, such as mixing paints, applying glues, etc...

I heard a good one recently. If you have an adjustable speed drill or dremel etc., make an "L" shape with some fine wire and fix it in the chuck. On a slow speed stir your paint, holding onto the tin/jar/bottle with the other hand. Sounds reasonable?

Testors makes pipe-ettes. They are clear soft plastic tubes with a bulb on one end. You put it in a bottle, squeeze the bulb and it draws paint into the tube allowing you to transfer the paint to another container. I cannot remember if they are graduated or not. I also use the small plastic cups that come in packs of 24 at Hobby Lobby. They resemble the plastic graduated dosage cups that come on cough medicine bottles (Nyquil, Dimeatap etc.) The last pack cost me $2.99. Is this what you are looking for?
