Quick question

Would Stug crews have the white lining around their shoulder marking, like infantry, or would they use the pink/red of the artillery designation?

I think the piping is pink/red.

My referance carries them as artillrey units. These units have Red piping. Pink was for panzer units only. I'll keep looking. Others may have better insight.

That is correct the piping is red. The panzer crew has the pink piping.

Even SS Panzer crew will using pink piping, and their StuG crew will using red piping.

The Sturmgeschutze was a sub-division of the artillery................ therefore
as mentioned Waffenfarbe was red.
