Hello all, well i decided to use my AB for the first time so i took 2 of my "practice models".

F-5 Tiger is assembled long ago and its cockpit cover is ruined by missdroped enamel thinner but i sprayed it black, added a gloss spots and decals just too see how it will turn out.

Leopard is Revell kit, i assembled it as a begginer armor modeler and painted one layer of green with brush (turned out too bad) so i just sprayed one more green layer with AB and practiced some postshading

Soo, what do you think? am i going the right way?

thanks for comments

Very nice!

I see that you have tried post-shading?
But what you have done is a pre-shading.
Have you first sprayed a darker layer, and than a lighter layer?
Then is it a pre-shade.
But I'm thinking you know this allready.........
Or am I wrong?

I'm only saying

Keep going!!

it wont spray is going on (tears)
Then to this with a 70 dollar aztek after promisign myself id stick to brushes:
hurray! i got it!...(2 min later) it wont spray..AGAIN!
To this:
well, it sprayed but looks like [auto-censored].
to my badger which looked like this:
OMG! washing your kit and priming realy does make a diference when ab a kit

Yes! it warm enought to ab today

Chears mate how dyou do that shading stuff? looks pretty neat! you'll soon be giving me tips

Ola Frank, not that i understood your whole post :-)

shading is actualy easy, you spray main colour, than add a little black to it, than spray thin lines on "shadow places" and dots.

very easy , ofc when i practice enuff i wont miss the dots like i did here

Looks like you made a very good start on your leo! Looks like you can handle your airbrush already. Now it's time to practice camouflage schemes :-)

Costas couldn`t be more true. Now you have discovered the pleasure of Airbrushing and the ease of reaching brilliant results. I Think it is safe to say that we will see some very nice things from you in the future. Great job on both the plane and the tank. The Preshade looks very well done.

This is an excellent start! I wont even tell you what i did with a badger in the 1970's!

(BTW when you put down a gloss coat for the decals - USE THE AIRBRUSH!)

Very nice start. I only wish my current airbrushing looked as good.

I think it looks great. My first airbrushing experiment ended in the trash heap. You should be proud of that one!
