Just curious if any one here has sent a question to R Lee and had him answer on the show.

Not me, but I have a season pass to it and never miss it! R.Lee is my hero!

Anybody see Boys in Company C? His D.I. days before Full Metal Jacket.

Anyway, good topic!

My only contact with the show was to correct a major misrepresentaion of WWII US Navy official designations for AC.

They said a PB-4Y Privateer, the Naval versio of the B-24 Liberator, had the number 4 in it because it had 4 engines, when in fact the "4" indicated it was the fourth (4) patrol-bomber (PB) from Consolidated Aircraft (Y).

Using their logic the PB-Y Catalina had no engines and the F-4Ux Corsair, (4) fourth (F) fiighter accepted from Vought/Chance-Vought (U)) had 4.

I received no response.

none of my questions, but they did answer a USMC question wrong, well they didnt even answer it. they didnt know where the term "ooh-rah" / "aarugha" came from , it came from teh sound of the klaxon of a submarine when it was submerging...i'm sure theres more they answered wrong too

I sent in a Q with no response, too. R Lee is probably trying to figure out how to shoot an 120mm APFSDS round at a watermelon...
That was my Q. "Tell me about main gun rounds on the M1XX Abrams."

Make a pile and let loose.

"Load HEAT"
"UP"
"FIRE"
"ON THE WAY!!!"
