I was wondering if anyone around here had an easy method for scratchbuilding a tent. Scale 1/48th.

Mary the guys here have pretty much covered it but just out of curiosity what tent are we talking about. The usual A-tent or something more elaborate like a Mongolian tent?
Tissue paper is the best but paper used to make kites are pretty good especially if you need to represent a heavy canvas tent coz its slightly thicker and stretches well even when wet.

if instead tissue paper you use kraft paper ( brown paper used for packing ) the final result using the same method is more realistic for texture of this paper ( tissue paper has small fibers, kraft paper has coarse fibers and the texture is very close to a real tent.)
