hey, i have had a pm from david brown now for a week, and whenever i log on i always have a meesage alert from the same pm i have had for a week now. how do i get rid of this( bearing in mind i have read it)

Matt - I'd delete your cookies as one part and then read the message and then delete it. If you need the information in it, I'd copy it and paste it into notepad and save it as a text document.

If I had to guess I would look at your browser cache setting. It should be on Auto (detect if new pages...) unless you want to run into similar problems on other sites. It sounds like it's set to never.
You can also hit CTRL + F5 as even I have to do this (on Auto) occasionally to force the page to re-check for a new version.
