well frist off my names big jim ,i stand 6ft 3 250 just retired from the marines not willingly but a road side bomb had other ideas im enjoying my days now volenteering at the local vetrans hospital where many of our troops are sent to recover from the nickname on here u can tell i was a humvee man,i was a gunny with the marines basicly i loved driving and sitting on the top firing my 50. i stick to tamiya models i build a lot many go to the troops laid up in the hospital , they love to see craftmenship like this and it does me good doing this

Welcome to site Jim, from a UK ex-artilleryman (1970s!). I know that there are a load of ex-servicemen and reservists from all over the world on here, so you're truly amongst friends.

A few of my friends found out the hard way what a culvert bomb can do, so I've got some idea what you must have gone through. A lot of my commision models have gone to veterans as well - a good home with people that deserve to have them.
