My interests are anything used by the Canadian Forces or built in Canada. I do armour, aircraft, and even a couple of ships, as long as its all in the family.

I was with the CF for about a dozen years, and have been modeling for about 5 years, given the bug by my good friend india11a who also joined this site recently.

I posted some pictures of my stuff in the members gallery, and I appologise for the poor quality of the photo's. Any comments positive or negative are welcome. I know I have a lot of room for improvement, and have just been modifiying and scratchbuilding parts for just over a year. You can see the best of it in the priest where I had to rebuild the pulpit, and manufacture the wading kit.

Ive been thrilled to join the Canadian Steel build, and have 4 projects already underway for it :-) !!

I'll be doing a Dingo, a C15, a Crusader AA, and an Achillies. I have a couple of Ram conversions, but decided not to go that way for this build.

Anyways Im very happy to be part of this community and already find it much more friendly and welcoming then some of the other modelling boards I am a member of. Thanks for having me, and I hope my contributions to the site are of some benifit.

Cheers!

Keith

Wellcome Keith. Some of your models look pretty good to me - I like that 'Priest' armoured carrier.

If you ever need info on the carriers try :
http://www.mapleleafup.org/vehicles/cac/
if you haven't already - I've made some good friends on that site and the webmaster, Geoff Winnington-Ball, has been involved in gathering info on the carrier regiment(s).

Ciao FNC1,
Hello neighbor to the north, and welcome to the best website in the Universe. You will love it here.
Glad to see another guy interested in Canadian subjects because that could mean that you might model more subject in the Italian theater (or even more importantly, the Sicilian Liberation.) That's my favorite.
Anyway, welcome and look forward to seeing your work. (I tried to look at your photos, but the connection is so slow today, I was unable to do so.)
Ciao for now

Thanks for all the responces! Ive been here a little over two weeks now and I am already floored with how much more responcive and friendly this site is then some of the other boards I am a member of. Having that coincide with the Canuck Steel build starting is fantastic! I have *4* already started for it lol!!

You guys are great.

Ill try and take some more pictures of some of my models and post them before I leave on my next business trip (next week). I appreciate all the comments offered on them. I know I have a long way to go to get as good as some of the work I've seen here, but I build more for fun than rivit counting.

So heres raising a glass to all of my fellow modelers!

Cheers
Keith
