If you wantmore on the GSP and his philosophy, I heartily recommend the book "Patton's Principals". Sorry, but I cannot remember the name of the author. It is written by the first G-4 of the 1st Armored Corps at Ft. Benning, GA. He relates the "real" behind the pubilcity Patton.
