Click "Events" to your left and when the calendar pops up, add a new entry. Staff_Jim has to approve it first.

tried it, but a login page pops up wich doesn't accept my login. What's wrong?

It didn't ask me for a log in. It just popped open a calendar and at the bottom I selected "Add new entry".
