Sci Fi is showing Galactica 1980 - I never saw it as a kid,
My God it is SOOOOOOOOO bad........
Old BSG wasn't that great either, aside from "The Living Legend" episode and the premiere.
BSG 2003 was great- looking forward to the series.
I do like the old Battlestar design more than the new design however.

Is Galactica 1980 after they find Earth? I found those to be the absolute worst eps, EXCEPT the episode that showed the fate of Starbuck.

The original BSG series while they were still searching for Earth was not too bad.

I too am looking forward to the new series.

wow! I was just getting ready to ask if anyone out there was fired up about the upcoming BattleStar Galactica on the 14th I thought the 1st 2 that Sci-Fi did in Dec. of 2003 was great. I admittedly am a fan of the old ones and bought the dvd set for myself last Christmas and yes they are pretty cheesy, but so are the original Star Trek episodes in my opinion. I will have to see if I can catch thoses episodes on Sci-Fi with the flying bikes just for nostalgia's sake. :-)
