Just snapped a quik pic of me and my U-boat I'm building for the Dive! Dive! Dive! Campaign. The photo is kind of fuzzy, but then again so am I ! Scary huh?
This is the RG 1/72 U-boat, and it is the most enjoyable model I have built for a long time! Even if you are a aircraft or Armor builder, this is one you should try! At this stage it is about 80% finished. I will post some good close ups when I get the time and the right weather.

Cheers and Oinks!

Garry, pretty cool pic. You have a nice crisp demarcation line between the upper and lower hull colors. What did you use to mask off, -- and did you get any bleed under? I am asking as I have never masked off for a naval build before, and I will be painting that little resin sub (we have talked about), soon. Thanks.

Steve

ps: I did pm Yankee models regarding the missing fin---they read the pm, but no reply. We'll see

Morning Steve!
I just used regular masking tape, but I had to mask it twice. The first time I got bleed through at every pannel line. So the second time I was more careful in this area making sure the tape was sealed around the raised lines. Good luck on your build bud!

And Thanks,
