I was talking to one of our members about getting a 1/35 scale ruler for them. Now I can't remember who it was. I have found them and I would like to send it out to you. (it is heck to get old, the memory is the second thing to go and I can't remember what the first thing is)

Where'd you get one of those? Can these be bought in hobby shops?

Hi guys, Most hobby shops should have them. They are made by C.T.T. INC. in Dallas, Tx. they are also available in metric I beleive. There is another option however as I had seen some one mention online scale rulers where you just download and print them but have since lost that addy. Any one out there have it? Cheers Kevin

God, am I old..... I've been using "Murphey's Rule" #1, and #2 for years. There were metal scale rulers, haven't seen them in many moons, but unlike CTT's which are marked off in 1/4 scale feet, these are marked off the first 1 1/2 inches in inches, with the 0 in the center, so you can measure on both sides of the 0 mark in inches.
The #1 one is in 1/72 scale, and 1/48 scale (old aircraft building days) and the #2 one is marked off in 1/35 and 1/32 scale (old 54mm days)

As I said, I haven't seem them advertised in years, so don't know if they are made anylonger.

Micro Mark has that one with the zero in the middle, but they don't have the 1/35 scale ruler, plus a few others.
That scale card place said they are all out of stock on the 1/35 scale ruler on the 24" one, they only have the 6" ones left, must of been a run on them 24" ones.

Hey, Dave.....
You can't be old, cause I've still got my Murphy's, so that would make me old, too :-) . Anyway, I've got an e-mail in to Venture Hobbies to see if maybe they can still find them somewhere. I'll let you guys know if I come up with anything.

My local hobby shop has them in different scales. I just sent one to Straightedge this morning.

I've got the one made by C.T.T. Like to know how it and the "Scale Card" rules match up. If someone has 'em both, let us know. At $4.95 for the Scale Card, not bad at all.

Thanks,

Mike

When I seen this up here I got to thinking, Dave didn't forget again, then when I seen it I had to start laughing, it wasn't that again.
