After the bitter send-off from my last company, I have started my new job this week! So far it is great, I mean how could a job in the video game industry not be fun, right?
I am the newest Community Manager over at EA working mainly on the EA Sports titles, but will also be helping out on games like Battlefield 2 and MOH: Dogs of War.
Just wanted to share the news with y'all!
Cheers,
BT

Mother! Good to see you back on here - hope things are progressing well.
Im not working so much on the development side, but do help out in communicating the wants and needs in the games. Plus, I get to play many of the games before they come out

Howdy BulletTooth,
A hearty "Congratulations!!" on the new job. And as you say, "... how could a job in the video game industry not be fun, right?....."
If I was a young man, I'd probably be pointing myself in that direction. But, being an old fart (but not 'Grumpy' like Dave ), I'm stuck with what I've dealt.
BTW, I'm with ptruhe........need any beta-testers? I'm quite proficiant in BF '42 and normally score in at least the top three players while online.....put in a good word for Paul and me huh?

Well, I am actually in charge of our Community Leaders program, so send me a PM with your e-mail address and I'll send you an application about the program, which includes early or Beta releases of the games. And yes, I will be helping out on BF2 - it looks AMAZING!
The only catch is you have to provide extensive feedback to be a part of the program
Thanks all for the wishes. I'm fortunate to have the job that I do. Unfortunately, I don't get to play games at work as much as I'd like to
