One of the things I like about Tamiya kits is the literature that comes along with. Usually it's a two page history of both technical and aesthetic aspects of the vehicle. It also has a diagram of formation and the like. Unlike Italeri which provides a vague one paragraph text.

But lately the new issues of Tamiya kits have barely one paragraph. I've noticed this especially in my recent purchase of the stug III, wirblewind, wespe etc......

I usually use this as bedside reading. Those literature helped me a lot in the early stages of my modelling habit before the advent of the internet.

I hope they bring it back.

Not to be cynical, but personally I like to see Tamiya bringing out some NEW armor kits and stop with this endless policy of re-releases. Whether Tamiya brings additional documentation is (for me at least) totally immaterial. What counts IMHO is the model it brings along with adequate instructions....Jim :-)
