name for AS90 ????

In the past, the british self propelled guns and howitzers used to have names of holy people.... untill the AS90 entered service.

So... what should we call it ?

Minister ?
Reverend ?
Cardinal ?
Father ?

These are just a few names that sprang to my mind.

Perhaps you have better names..

Share them with us please.

I believe it's already been named - Braveheart seems to be very commonly applied to this weapon.

You may well be right Pete, but it's the only name that I can find applied to the AS90.

the AS90 is only called Braveheart for the 52 version it has no other name strange really when most other Armour does,

Though 'Braveheart' is a nice name.. it IS breaking with the sort-of naming convention that has been going on since WW2... It's like naming Britain's next tank Dominator or so, instead of, say, Conquoror

Personally, I would go for Cardinal
