Read this at another message board; The way item #3 was written gave me my first laugh of the day...

1. The wheels. They have a seam going around the middle, essentially two halves stuck together. I should have sanded the seam away before painting because it still showed after I applied the paint (black).
2. Read the instructions thoroughly. I accidentally painted the tracks tan (I had decided on the desert camo paint scheme) instead of black/gun metal. I put the tracks in paint thinner to remove the paint. I also put most of the body plates in the paint thinner for about an hour because at 1:72 scale, the paint layer was too thick and the details get wasted if you want to correct by painting over.
3. The plastic M1 dissolves in paint thinner. I no longer have an M1.
Poor bastard.

:-) :-) :-)
Pero sounds to me like di pa siya nag-a-armor in any scale. Imagine painting the tracks tan. :-)

I also have a 1:72 M1. Let me add to his woes:
4. Do not leave your plastic M1 around when you have an outstanding argument with your sister. Especially if she's the type who'd take on your models if she can't win the argument with you.

Happened to me once :-) :-) It was a soft vinyl fig painted with Gunze laquers. I tried to remove it by soaking it in the thinner. No more fig. Paint still intact :-)
