Banner Help Needed

Hey guys,
I have been trying, without luck to make a banner. I was inspired by the TAG IT thread.

I would like to have a simple 502 banner, nothing real fancy. If someone could please help me, I would greatly appreciate it.

what program are you using to make it? i have photoshop and i've been thinking of making myself a custom one, too.

How do you go about making a banner? Does it have to be a specific size?

I started experimenting with a banner, just went into 'paint', drew a simple flag, saved it as a Jpeg, opened it in Photoshop, resized it to 460 x 60 and played a bit with the smudge tool. Then save again, and upload that to your gallery.
