What to do with PE?

Just starting a kit,and it has a couple PE parts.How do i finish them?Paint,wash,dry brush or just leave them as is?Never used it before,so would like to make the right choice........

Finishing them is just like finishing the plastic parts. Before using them I soak them in vinegar, then soap and water.

If you're using acrylic paints, it's highly advisable to prime the PE parts (and the whole model, of course) with a suitable primer. Acrylics stick very poorly to bare metal surfaces. Some (acrylic) paints just refuse to adhere, some stick but flake off extremely easily.
Other thing to remember with painting PE is to paint the first coat lightly, trying not to cover with one coat. It won't, and you risk filling delicate detail. After the first coat you have a surface where additional coats cover well.
