I've been trying to find out for some time if the arab nations involvesd in said were using russian BRDM's or BTR's. I'm using this information this information for a diorama so any help is much appreciated.

In my travels through the Sinai (Mitla and Gidi passes, El Tasa, Baluza, El Arish and the coast highway) in '76 and '77, I saw LOTS of BTRs that had been destroyed...didn't see any BRDMs.

BTR-60s and BMP-1s as well. I'm pretty sure that BRDMs would have been used, together with the SAGGER AT missile version.

Basically, if the Russians sold it, it was used in the Middle East.
