What can I use to cut my paint instead of the tiny bottles I buy at hobby shops for $3.00?
I use enamel paint.
thanks for helping this newbie save some money!

You should be able to get half a gallon of white spirit for $3.00 at your local hard ware store and that should last for ages.

For Testors / Model master enamal paints I use the 1/2 pint cans they sell for the brand...still a little expensive at about $6 a can but I've found that they give me the best results in mixing my paint....
but to cut down on costs I use Low Odar mineral spirts to clean my airbrush and bottles and stuff... :-)

Testors enamels are most successfully thinned with their thinner while cleaning the airbrush and accessories can be done with lacquer thinner or some other oil-based solvent.
