Thought I'd post this up, since it's about the Korean War, and there's not much movies concerning it....(it really is "The Forgotten War")

And if I remember correctly, there's a Korean War campaign coming up...It could help some guys get ideas for the builds.

First time I heard of it, I thought it was something about the US 29th ID (*with the Korean blue-gray "taeguk" as their seal.. )

Check out site for more information : http://www.knto.or.kr/eng/hallyu/taegukgi.html

This movie is said to be a great one....I'll watch it tommorow, and tell give you guys my opinion...

But if I see the trailer on www.taegukgi2004.com it looks like the film is great indeed (although I don't understand a word of Korean....I only learned some names of kicks etc with Taekwondo hahah)

Ok guys I've just seen this movie.....and.......

THIS IS PROBABLY ONE OF THE BEST MOVIES I'VE EVER SEEN

Be aware this is not a child-friendly movie though, limps etc fly around sometimes.

But really, I had tears in my eyes after seeing this movie (and also during the movie)

If you can get your hands on the DVD.....you'll like it!

Greetings

Oh I found this movie cheap on eBay, just searched it up again and saw a number of seller with it fairly cheap ... shipping a little high but their just avoiding fees from feeBay. LOL

Here is the link to a US seller that has it for $4.00 + $7.00 shipping. Shipping is high but it makes a total of $11.00 not bad if you look at it like that.

As an FYI, this movie is at Blockbuster for rental and I STRONGLY recommend renting this movie if not buying it. I will be buying it myself, it's THAT good. It's great to see a movie about this conflict from any side, this is a war that aside from an American comedy set in a medical unit, has been forgotten by Hollywood. This one though is from the Korean point of view and their side of the war, excellent film!

I have to agree with Martin, this is not a child friendly film at all. Lots of action sequences that are of Hollywood quality and a gritty realism that gives you the feeling of desperation and chaos on the battlefield.

Great, great movie.

IMO, BETTER than SPR...
