I got my digicam, a Canon A400 Powershot! Now I have to sit down and figure out how to use it (it's no fun being lo-tech). Anyone got one of these and wants to offer some helpful hints, please do.

Don't know the specifics about that cam but test the close up ability. Being that it's digital you can take as many shots as you like for practice and simply erase the ones you don't like

To take close shots of your models you use the Macro mode. I have a Fujifilm camera, so I can't tell you how to do that with your camera. You have a good camera there. Now learn to use it and post some pics.

Thanx for the input, guys. I probably should have been more specific, but it's not the picture taking, it's the how-do-I-upload-afterwards part that's all new to me. I'm going to struggle through the directions and see what happens, but I would still like to hear any tips you might have from past experience.
