OK, I guess that all of us have something new in the modelling line so what was it?

I got the Nitto M8A1 tractor with AFV Club vinyl tracks ( 2sets) + Airwaves brass; and a Tamiya Churchill with Legend conversion kit for the NA75.

these will hopefully get me started on some newer aspects of modelling like ships and wingy things
and i also got On Track Models "stuerer Emil"

Several kits incl. Eduard sets, although I chose these some time ago and then they were 'spirited' away! A leather office chair, which will save my back during the wee small hours of modelling, a new respirator for when I'm spraying, the PE bending thingy with all the rods (can't remember what it's called), the Osprey 251 book, and what she called my 'big' present, a goldfish bowl.....well it's really a sort of cold water aquarium with filter unit and everything...but it's still a goldfish bowl and it's still going back on Monday!

As hoped for, my sister came through and got me the 350 scale Nimitz. SHAZAM !!! What a kit. Now if Tom's will get off their rumps and finish the PE set, well I might start it after I complete that 72nd scale U-boat and the Iraqi Freedom HumVee and ooohhhh I don't know one of my Patton tanks. Of course there is that Bismarck I want to plank and the 350 scale Enterprise I've had for a year now......so many great models it's hard to decide what to do.

I got a Revell/Monagram P-38, P-61 and the old JFK PT 109, all from my brother. He recently moved to a town with a Micheals craft store and took advantage of the 40-50% off coupons and bought everything in stock he thought I didn't have!! Plus a few books on WW2 sea battles to wet my whistle while I am working on the Sub campaign. I am pretty lucky that my family sort of pays attention to what I am doing, and knew enough that I was on a naval kick recently. MERRY X-MAS!!

Sounds like everyone enjoyed the Holidays, whatever the religion, and we all were basically 'good' this year.

I got what I was hoping for.
Two 1:1 scale guns. An MP40 and M9 Berretta.
The MP is model kit-like. Needs cleaning up and some assembly.
The 9MM came assembled.
Both need paint.
Now if I could just find a campaign to enter them in...

Oh yeah, I also received the Spiderman 2 DVD and Start Trek movie DVDs to finish off my collection.

My birthday is in 6 months. Should I start hinting about the H&K MP5 and P08 Luger?
