Thank you Graywolf and mother for reciprocating with a nice wish. Judging from the number of people who read this post and from the number of replies, I have to say that people here either don't like Cristmas or they don't like Arabs.. and judging by the responses to my other posts.. I'm guessing the second is the case. Oh well.. on with my search for a site where a wider variety of nationalities hang out, so I can just melt in.

Thanks Hisham! We have 5-8 inches of snow on the way and it is going to get down to 6 degrees below zero on Christmas Eve. Should make for an interesting night of travelling...

Merry Christams everyone.

Merry Christmas to all. Hope everybody gets the models they wanted and lusted after, but always remember those from ALL countries who are in harm's way this season. My thoughts are with them and their families.

And to my compatriots back up in the "Great White North"...you got your payback on me for moving south....it actually snowed here last night...all of ,00001 inches (not enough to bother a Canadian, but enough to make the bubbas here drive worse than normal).

Salaam, Hisham!
Please, my Brother, do not be discouraged by the low amount of replies. A Festive Holiday season to you & yours my Friend. I would wish for some snow for you but I think you'll have to settle for dust!
I for one would be sadly disappointed if you were to melt in, as I value your insights into different cultures & viewpoints above all. Please stay with your Armorama Familythrough the season & the coming years. As to those who are to conceited or ignorant to reciprocate your heartfelt greeting, I say we are better off not hearing from them.
Peace Unto All!

Hisham,

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year my Egyptian Brother! May the coming year have many blessings, prosperity and above all PEACE for you and your family. I don't think I'll get snow here on Whidbey Island Washington, but at my sister in law's house at the foot of Mount St. Helen's we hope to have a few inches. My 20 month old daughter Bronwyn has never seen snow. Also I would wish to send a Merry Christmas to all my brothers and sisters here at Armorama and especially to those that are overseas in the military.

Hisham, thanks for the wishes and same back at you, and to everyone else for whatever holiday you might choose to celebrate.
But as for the snow, I'd be more than happy to have nice dry ground for Christmas. We got about 5 inches on Monday, the roads are still a mess, sidewalks are slippery, the Hollywood whiteness has been replaced in many areas by grimy road dirt and there were dozens of fender bender accidents. Snow is fun if you can stay home from school or live to ski. Otherwise, think of it as a cold, slippery, wet sandstorm.
