Hi chaps. Just tried to upload some pictures from War & Peace show to my gallery, and was toId I was not allowed to. Didn't have any probs last week. What have I done wrong? I know I'm hopeless at getting pictures from gallery to forum, but this seems a bit extreme (only joking).

It says: You do not have permission to upload".

Steve,
I made a few changes to the cookie format for the sites. Try either cleaning all your cookies OR clicking here:
Kill Cookie
Then delete your browser cached files and close all browsers. Then login again and try to upload. If that doesn't work let me know.
Thanks,
Jim

Jim, I cleared out all my cookies & temporary Internet files, but still can't upload. Same message. Do I need to leave it a bit longer?

There is a thread somewhere here that talks about similar problems when users have upgraded to Windows XP service pack 2. Did you do that recently? Or perhaps via the auto-update feature in Windows?
If anyone can identify the specific security setting that is messing this upload process up, I would appriciate it.
Sorry for the trouble Steve. You aren't on AOL browser are you? That was the other issue reported recently also from users in UK.

Looks like a Microsoft Explorer via Google. I'm not sure as this is a job laptop. Does have XP on it though.

Hmm....IE via Google? Not sure about that setup. I did just get someone else in the UK working as they were using AOL's internal browser (well known for issues like this).
And another user tonight was using a web accelerator...that was also causing it to fail.
I actually just tested the upload page using our laptop which has Windows XP SP2 and it works fine.
How large is the image or images you are trying to upload?
Jim

Most of them are about 2-300K, nothing as big as 600 I don't think.
