I used cheese cloth. Simply cut out a section a little large than required and fold the frayed edges underneath. There are many techiques for coloring. Personally I soak the cloth in dye. Then while still damp I can shape it over the tanks, stowage, etc.. Then use a diluted white glue mixture to harden.

Gauze bandages soaked in a solution of paint and white glue, draped on the model and drybrushed when it's dry.

procrazzy,

You can use kneebandage.
Paint it in what color you want en voilá!
just a little pull to the ends of the kneebandage and you have a net.
Camo,

You can spray the pattern with an airbrush.
Easy and lots of details.
(I'm sorry for the bad englisch )

I used to use the gauge bandages too but I find it more difficult to wind the right weave these days. The newer kind seem to have thinker and stretchable type weaves which make it wrong for camo netting. Just make sure when you are looking at gauze that it's the open weave.

I have used both bandage gauze and cheesecloth. I believe the cheese cloth is a better scale representation.

i use cheese cloth or gauze bandage soaked in a 50/50 solution of water and white glue, sprinkle some home herbs on it as the fake leaves you commonly see, let dry, then paint on colors as you need.

I use medical gauze soaked in 50/50 water/ white glue mixture. Spreckle spices such as orgeno (spelling) which I allow to dry for a day or two. Next I sprayed another 50/50 solution to ensure a good bond of the spices. All to dry again then I spray painted to camouflage pattern on it.

Modify version: Cammo Net on poles and off the vehicle.

Here, I set the poles up the way I'm going to display the nets, Place a sheet of plastic wrap over them, then place the gauze on the plastic wrap and tack it to the base. From here I dod the same as above. Once dryed I remove the net, then the wrap and reattach the net and supergkue it to the poles. I used this for one entry for the Under Cover campaign. here's the photo.
