I have noticed the comments on buying AEF kits. I have recently been looking to buy Tamiya and Dragon kits from Amercian and other sites based on the $US dollar.
Due to a fantastic exchange between sterling and the dollar i have seen sites selling kits at $30.00 which work out at £15.00 approx (Poatage excluded.) anyone give me information on good relaible US dollar based sites.
One i have been looking at is Hong Kong Based Lucy Models.
Merry Christmas to you all.

Lucky Models is a superb site. The prices are truly impressive. You will pay a fair amount of postage however with what you are going to save....
I recently started a thread about this very subject - it can be seen Here...
Just remember as well, that you have to be careful about the British Customs and Excise. Jim

I live in Canada and from now on I'm getting my models from Hobby Easy I can get a kit from them cheaper than American prices, like the Dragon 3 n 1 half tracks list for $33.95 USD and they list here in Canada for $44.95 CDN I got them for $26.17 CDN so if I ship surface it really makes it worth it.

I strongly recommend Squadron Mail Order (www.squadron.com). Never had a problem with them, used them exclusively when I was stationed in Germany.
