hi evryone. just went midvalley yestrday. MH is having a sale until 2nd Jan 05... buy 2 items got 30% discount. got myself a dml jagdtiger & ss wiking figure set.

i saw that they haven't got many new stock as since i went there a month ago. new trumpeter kits probably coming in 2 weeks- i'm looking fwd to the 1/35 hotchkiss tank. but sadly they dont have any latest dml.. too bad considering dml released a LOT of good kits lately - bummer! ah, well, there's always online shopping, i suppose...

Yes, i went there too and must say that the new kits will only be in next year. Think the sale ends 2nd Jan.

They do have some pretty good deals like the DML Morser which was on 50% and also some other big kits.

If you buy any 2 kits, you get 30% but if you get only one, then it's 10%.

Thinking of getting a AFV Recovery Vehicle but will have to see what i can get along with it to enjoy the 30% discount.

When you are there, do take a look at what they stock up on the top shelves as sometimes, not all that are stored there are available on the shelves.

Anyone else got any good deals there?

What about Hobby HQ? Will they be on sale any time soon?

Hello guys

last saturday, i went to MH...
sadly the T34/76 were all gone..arghh...so frustrated... two of the T34/85 UTZ were still there....
so i decided not to buy anything...well after walking a few hours, have a drink, makan ...suddenly i got this feelings that i must get one of the tanks...
so i went again to MH, this time only 1 T34/85 was on the shelf...

quickly i grabbed it ...still havent decided to hide or to buy it... well my wallet doesnt carries much cash....so i grabbed another Trumperter Russian Kilo Attack Sub and swipe the card again
i cant stand it.......

The temptation to buy SOMETHING is too great to resist eh, Sil?

I was rearranging the contents of my display cabinet a few days back....found out that there are now two empty shelves.....now what should go on those ( the models still unbuilt in my stash has their place already marked, this is totally empty) more tanks, jets, propellers or ships?

Mojimbo need a favor. Could you check whether they have any Vietnam era Dragon figures? I'd appreciate it if you could give me a ring if they are

Hse # 03-5891 1302.

Man, I shouldn't even be buying anymore kits. I'm already running out of room to store the unfixed ones.

Thanks.

Beside MH, Dremel drill can be obtained from a DIY shop at Cold Storage, PJ (formerly known as Jaya Supermarket). I got mine from them more than 5 years ago, and it comes with a flexible extension arm such that you can suspend the bulky motor on a stand. You can also procure the accessories from the DIY but be very careful if you do use this powerful monster drill. I have had good experiences with flying drill bits and cutting discs. It's a good drill and you will need a steady hand to control it.

Sorry Sil, can't really remember how much it cost. Not more than RM200 if I m not wrong. But it also depends which model are we looking at. I recommend using a flexible arm extension when you work with any high speed tools. The vibration from the motor will affect your steady painting skills.

Instead of Dremel, you can also go for Black & Decker or Borch. Ace Hardware have the flexible extension arm to fit into any drilling tools. The only problem is you will need to decide on which drilling tool to get.
