Finnaly arrived in Brisbane, or Wynnum to be exact, after a couple of hot days in Singapore.

Going up a couple of days to the Barrier reaf, and then time to start exploring Brisbane.

Just wanted to keep you guys informed.

Just make sure you don't let a dingo get your baby!

They also have kanga races there. Definitely check those out

(My apologies to any Aussies I may have offended )

No, Ayers Rock (Uluru) is where dingos eat babies. Although if you go to Fraser Island be careful of the bloody things there. The tourists have been feedinbg them over the years and they are no longer scared of humans - they come into campsights scavenging for food and are generally pests. Trouble is they are supposedly the "purist" dingos left in Australia so they won't shoot them out.

If you think Singapore was hot then be ready for the same if you come up to Reef country - You will be returning to the tropics and we have had a few days straight of 30+ degrees Celcius maximums and it has been 28 at midnight. Humidity in the 75%+ range as well.

Wave to me as you fly over Mackay.

Don't think that we are going very far up the reef, since we are "only" going to do a 4-5 hour drive...

But I promise to look out for dingos and all the other nasty things that you have got down here.

Have taken some picutres but don't have them on the computer yet. A couple of good pictures from the barrier reef and from turtel nesting. Will see when I can find the time to post them.
