Howdy folks,
Would like to get people's opinon's on Sparmax range of airbrushes and compressors - designed for nail art apparently and meant to be of high quality.
Anyone with experience of these ?

I use a sparmax 35 AB before I got my new one I also use a sparmax oil less mini air compressor with water filter.

I have no problems with quality or reliability and would recommend them.

I have a Sparmax AC-100 compressor, and I wouldn't really reccomend it for modelling. Mine's sitting in a box, unused since I bought a bigger compressor with a tank.

The main problem that I had with it was that, since it lacks a tank, it "puffs" with each stroke of the compressor. This tended to make it so that I had to really, really thin out paints otherwise I'd get a lot of bigger paint droplets in with the spray.

This was OK, if it was a small model. On bigger kits, though, the compressor would get very hot and then sometimes not want to start again until it cooled down, limiting the amount of painting you could do with it.

Another problem was that it tended to overwhelm its in-line moisture trap fairly quickly and then start spitting water, even if the humidity wasn't that high.

On the plus side, it is very, very quiet.

I'm not sure if these are problems with just the Sparmax, or all of the small tankless compressors.
