Hello guys, does anybody know of any modelling clubs in South Essex/Kent or a reasonable drive away?
I am modelling on complete isolation and a "That's nice luv" from the missus is no longer good enough!
(And I'm lucky to get that!)
I do figures/mounted/vignettes of no particular period of history...
Don't want to throw a wet blanket & all, but I don't do panzers!

There are a couple of IPMS branches close to me, I live near Doncaster, but to be honest they are a waste of time. So I to model in isolation, or did until I discovered Armorama.
I for one am glad that you don't do panzers, there're enough that do :-) Post some pics of your stuff, you are sure to get a better responce than
Looking forward to seeing them.

Thanks, fellas.
I would put some photos on, but I don't feel my camera is good enough, although I will give it a go soon, as I'm too tight to shell out for a digital SLR!
I'm also frightened as close-ups are generally unmerciful......
cheers.

Hello all,
I attend the IPMS club in Farnborough. I also know of a club near Chatham or Gillingham. They held the first show for a while at the RE Museum in Brompton earlier this year, September.
If you log onto the IPMS-UK site there is a link to the nearest club in your area which may (or may not) leave you spoilt for choice.
Anyone interested in coming to Farnborough please drop me a line and I will supply details, however to whet your appitite, the majority of our 20-30 members or at least regulars are aviation modellers, although there are a couple like myself who do armour. There is also a few figures and si-fi, and civvy cars or bikes throughout the year!! But most importantly there is a bar!!!!
