Hi all,
I've just made an English version of my site!
I was hoping one of you guys could go check my site, and give me tips etc on my English. I'd like to have my site written in good English, without unnecessary mistakes....

Oh, remember there are some things I need to change. For instance, if you view one of my models, there isn't a backbutton or something like that, so you've either got to use your browsers backbutton or the navigation menu. Need to do some work on those details!

Hi Martin, I just had a look at your website and it looks great. I had no problems understanding anything and navigating around was simple. By the way your dio" Road to Berlin" looks great. If the dio's you have in progress are as good we are in for a treat.

This is how I see my site....but I think you guys see a different type letters (don't know what the english word for lettertype is hehe....maybe it's just the same!)
If you see a different lay-out, does anyone knows how to change this? I made my site using Frontpage...

OH, only problem I did run across was not being able to sign your guestbook.
Your English by the way is 100% better than my Dutch......

Well, it's simple....."schrijf een nieuw bericht" means the same as "add message/reply". Click on it, enter your name (= naam) and send it (= verzenden)

OK... The font (Type) looks the same on my screen....
One thing you might want to change...
on the guestbook page, the black type gets lost in the dark blue background color, basicly disappearing to this oldmans eyes at least.

Here I can see all of the letters perfectly.....so I don't know why they almost blend at your computer...Anyway, there's nothing I can change about it, because I haven't made the guestbook ...(it's a free one from www.tboek.nl)

and the character type of letters is the same as on your screens. The name of the character type is copperplate gothic light. I bought the tiger of academy on your recommendation its a superb kit!

I sure agree with you about the Tiger....I have had so much fun with building it's interior, and it was also the first time for me using PE (the engine grill, I'm addicted to PE engine grills ever since) and seperate tracks (which I also love after building the Tiger)
For now, the model is handpainted with little green stripes over a dark yellow base, but handpainting is far to "hard" for such a camo sceme.....but I'll buy me an airbrush soon, so I can give this baby a new look!
I also got plans of buying me a second and maybe even a third Tiger (1 early version and 1 late version....) because it's such a great kit (for a low price)

Btw, there also seemed to be some problems with the dutch flag (above the navigation menu, used for switching between Dutch and English version). This one didn't worked after you switched language....
I don't have this problem, but does anyone here share this problem? If so, please tell me! If not, please tell me as well haha!!

i'm also going to buy a second one,
And the acadamy with the interior is cheaper than the tamiya without interior.
The only thing I missed was a list with the colors you have to use. So now you have to guese (gokken)
witch colour you need. The only thing they say is green, ye witch kind of green. They have to make a list with the colours of tamiya or humbrol.
Please tell me what kind of colours you have used on your tiger.
And the flag is a red cross but you can switch from english to dutch normaly of you press on it.

Now that I'm awake after working all night, I took another look at your site. It seems eveyone has already addressed the few things I saw concerning your english. Actually, your english is much better than some of the people I have to deal with here in the states.
Hey, maybe after you teach me all you know about computers, you can teach me Dutch :-)

Well, if you can make a sentence with the words above, I think you can speak Dutch :-)
Just remember that in Dutch, we say what we can before we say we can do it.......(at least in this case) With that in mind, think about which of the last two words comes first and which one follows after...
Lol hope I'm not making it too difficult for your 2nd dutch lesson....Well, two sentences to make, give it a try :-)

Well, I'm not sure I got the word order correct, but here goes:
#1 - "wij zijn twee modelbouwers" = "We are two scale modelers"
#2- "ik kan nederlands spreken" = "I can talk (speak) Dutch"
