Here is a picture of what the Gold and Silver awards will look like at the show on 9/6 - 7 (gold has a gold plaque and silver has a silver plaque). It is an official USMC 120mm round base. Previously fired by a Marine M1A1.

For more info. on the show feel free to email or pm me or visit the following site:

Somebody in my last club meeting mentioned this show and talked about it for a while. I might have to take the drive up and see what's up.

How much does that trophy weigh?

I don't know the exact weight, but I would say that it is somewhere between 5 - 10 lbs (probably closer to 10 lbs as they feel pretty darn heavy). They are really cool and a great idea. The guy that had the idea is an active duty Marine M1A1 tank commander and he is also the one that got all of the shell bases for us.

Great Idea, Great initiative. If you'd like an award from Dream Catcher let me know and I'll see what we can arrange. You can contact me on PM or EM.

I think that’s a great idea, especially for armor trophies. Brings me to a question, but it better fits in the armor section. Good luck to those going to the show. If you win post some more pics from the event, and hopefully a gold trophy.
