There are at least 2 IPMS chapters in your area, Roanoke and Lynchburg. Use the link below to see information on contacts.
If you are an armor modeler, there is an AMPS chapter in Roanoke..
I am in Richmomd and invite you to our annual show and contest in February. Information can be found in the "Shows and Contests" forum .

Thanks for the info Ron, I am an armor modeler who has been out of the net for awhile. I left it and went into R/C aircraft. Well I have had enough of that and am ready to come back into the fold.

I live in Trout Dale,VA just about an hour north of the Bristol Motor Speedway. I am a member of an IPMS chapter in Bristol, TN. We only 2 car builders, and the rest build armor, A/C, and ships.

When jim first created the site..... he was living in VA hence it was Born there.......
