Is there any difference between the two?

I think green is a little coarser than white. I use green to fill large spots becuase it has less shrinkage.

Like Paul (ptruhe) I have aways thought the green was a little more course, but I've found some difference of opinion on this. The one thing everyone seems to agree on is the major difference is the green is green and the white is white. I've used both over the years, and my suggection is use the green to fill on dark plastic (green or blue) and the white on light colored plastic (white or light gray), this to avoid "pre shading" the filled area.

I agree with Chuck in respects to using green putty on darker plastics. And, as with Paul and Chuck, I think white is less coarse. I prefer to use white over green in general.
