Well, after lurking for awhile, I decided to join. This place is awesome! Although a noob to this forum, I am a forum veteran over on the RPF (replica prop forum) I am a machinist/propbuilder by trade and I also do commission model building for folks. I am constantly tseeking to refine my modelbuilding skills and there is no better place to learn more than here! Some of the work I have seen here is amazing!!!

Anyway, I don't have many models to post yet. I have been out of the building realm for quite some time but am now reinvigorated! I just completed a 1/72 scale Hasegawa Tiger 1 that I will post some pics of. My first love is AFV's, but because I build movie props, I get alot of requests for vehicles used in movies. Right now, in the works, I have a Revell 1/72 U-boat kit that is HUGE! Can't wait to get going on it. It will be converted to closely match the U-boat seen in Raiders of the Lost Ark. I also have a Stampe SV4 Biplane in 1/50th that will be converted to match the plane used in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, as well as a few armored vehicles for myself!

I look forward to getting to know a bunch of you and learning more from some of the masters here.

Welcome to what has to be THE best modelling forum on the net
Regardless of talent or experience, everyone is always learning and also willing to help each other without having the "cliquey" characteristics of having to have known or spoken to each other for many years before.

Also sounds like you have an interesting job!
