I think my modelling days are over. My girlfriend and her son are moving in with me, the problem is there won't be room for me to build models any more. Although I'm a total slob and would find any space to have part built kits sat in she is one of those women who wants everything neat and tidy. Oh well, I'll keep my tools and paints just in case........and I will still hang around on this site because of the good company.

On the plus side I will have someone to do the ironing and dig the garden.

hi Martin,
it is good to see your hunts started giving good results.
Besides your house must be having a thinner+paint atmosphere to breath ,this will affect their DNAs and they will change to modelers soon....and she has a son.modelling is a good way to have good contact with some boys.
best regards
matt

What I used to do, back in the early days, was put all my stuff on a TV tray, which I stored under my bed. That way, when I wanted to build, I pulled it out and went to work, and when I was done, it was neatly tucked under my bed. That way, both of you win! You get to build, and she gets to have a neat and tidy living space.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but she is moving in with you right? She is moving her things into your home? And you give up? Nooooo. She adapts to you. That's natures way.

Martin,
I guess you will be in my boat then....vicariously modeling thru others (on this site). Sorry to hear it though. You should (and me to) keep trying to figure out a way to do it.

Regards,
Jim
